Radiohead The King of Limbs Blogspot Mediafire Mp3 Download :: Apart from today's excellent news about Radiohead unveiling their eighth studio album (digitally) this Saturday, February 19th, the band are once again reminding us that the best way to market an album is to show up unannounced. The traditional way of preparing for an album release typically requires lead time, PR, radio advances, lots of press, etc. However, not one band on this planet, no matter how big or small your fan base is, should rely on that paradigm. It's an outdated model that rarely works, unless you enjoy people leaking and downloading your work for free while you "build buzz" for two months. C'mon, seriously? The music community is so niche and ripe with micro-pr machines (aka blogs) that any artist can and will build hype, excitement and buzz as everyone slowly digests the album at the same time. All that really matters is that it's a good sounding record and people will find out about it, and they'll certainly come out to see you play. Thanks again to Radiohead for teaching the music community how to conduct business, but no thanks to that ugly cover art. Bleh!
