Just follow these simple steps below to install Android 2.3.3 on Google Nexus S.
* Download Android 2.3.3 (GR140)
* Rename the file you downloaded above to update.zip
* Connect Nexus S with your computer via USB cable and mount the SD card
* Copy and paste the “Update.zip” file on the root of the SD card.
* Turn off your Nexus S.
* Now you have to be in the bootloader menu. To do so, turn on Nexus S by pressing and holding power and Volume Up button
* Now go to recovery in Bootloader menu by using Volume keys and select it by using power button.
* When you see an exclamation mark on the screen, simply press the Volume up button and then the power button.
* your device is now in recovery mode. Select “Apply sdcard:update.zip” in order to update your phone by using the “Update.zip” file fromSD Card.
* Now let the update finish its task. Once the process is done with the update, restart your device and congartulations, your Nexus is now running on Android 2.3.3
